It was years ago at the age of 19 that I was in Dallas, Texas and part of a Media Ministry that was Broadcasting Voice (Scripture) over Popular Music at reaching young people.  We were getting time on Secular Music Stations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  They were powerful messages that reached a good number of young people during the "Jesus Movement of the 70's".  I remember during that time in Texas I had a travailing time of praying the Lord's Prayer.  I was stuck on THY KINGDOM COME - THY WILL BE DONE, I believe it was the Holy Spirit praying through me those words again and again.  It left an imprint on my soul, to seek his Kingdom and do his Will in this world.

It wasn't too many months after that I was working with an Inter City Pastor that I got a call to help young people again.  The call came from Rochester, Michigan asking me to come and teach the bible at a Christian Coffee House called Shepherds Inn.  That was a significant call, it was there that Theresa and I got to know each other.  It was to be in the Rochester Area that we would start and grow two churches and I would serve as a full time pastor.  Although 20 years apart after serving both churches for more than 10 years, I felt a THY KINGDOM COME call that took me away from the people. programs and property concerns of these local churches.  The first church really doesn't exist any more, the second is where we worship and serve as we can, although not on staff.

My work now is outside the box.  What began as a simple outreach as a Metro Missionary, around Kingdom Burdens, God had laid on my heart, has taken taken on a wider vision.  Jesus must be seen and known through his body of believers,
