"Productive, responsible and caring citizens" are the kinds of people that the Boys and Girls Club of South Oakland County wants to help build. The club offers a wide range of programs for kids in an after-school environment, including educational support, tutoring, computer training, fine arts and athletics, with the help of professionally trained staff. Community involvement is important for the club, so even family problems are addressed. Family support services are offered with the counseling assistance of psychologist Don Reed. The cost of membership is $25.00 per year and scholarships are available.
Target Group: Young people six to 18 years of age

Volunteers are welcome for varying facets of program (e.g., computer lab, chess club, athletic department, career development, art room, musical lessons, cooking class, members with disabilities, janitorial, tutoring, mentoring, language lessons).
