A Visit to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

P1110314, originally uploaded by richarddalton14.

A couple weeks ago I spent some time at our Museum of African American History in Detroit. Here are a few pictures from the visit, they don't allow pictures inside the exhibits themselves. If you haven't been there, you should put this on your "to do list". From the Slave Ship "Cargo" area to the boat's "Topside" tracing American history to the Streets of Detroit, it's a unique opportunity to view some neglected history. The building itself is beautiful as you'll see in my pictures.
