Cleaning Up M25 Last Saturday

P1040985, originally uploaded by richarddalton14.

The men’s group of Christ the King Anglican Church in Lexington, Michigan took to the highways as participants of M-DOT Adopt-a-Highway Program. We began our day at 8 a.m. with a light breakfast, then viewed a short video on safety. The men’s group has adopted the two mile stretch from Burns Line Road to Sheridan Line Road. The clean-up on the shoulders between these two miles took approximately four hours. Some residents came out and greeted the us saying how much they appreciated their efforts to clean up the debris. After working up an appetite, we gathered for a hearty lunch and fellowship.
