This is a very interesting interview from the White Horse Inn, with Ann Rice an nationally known author and newly found woman of faith with interesting insights into the Biblical text.  She had a powerful conversion and has dedicated her writing skills to higher purpose.    In this interview she has much to say about supposed modern scholarship around the scriptural material and text.

My wife, Theresa and I read this book together and found it a very moving fictional account of the early life of Jesus.  The book opens with a couple dramatic miracle events taken from the Gospel of Thomas,  which might put off some of us evangelicals.   She worked these accounts into her "fiction" and she shouldn't be stoned for lifting material from various sources for her novel.    Read on and you'll find a very moving and faith building acount of the incarnate; fully God and fully man Jesus Christ the Lord.    It's a good read and both Theresa and I commend it to you.
